Following the responses to the six week consultation ending last December, the plan was revised and has now been submitted to Daventry District Council along with details of all the consultations with parishioners and any actions taken as a result.
DDC opened a further six week consultation period when any interested parties could again comment.(Regualton 16 Consultation) This ran from Monday 9th April to Friday 25th May 2018.
The Council and Badby Parish Council appointed an independent examiner, Liz Beth, MA, Dip Design in the Built Environment, MRTPI in July to examine the neighbourhood plan against the basic conditions. The independent examiner can recommend that the plan proceeds direct to a referendum (i.e. it meets all the legal requirements) or may suggest that modifications are needed to the plan before it proceeds to referendum or that it should not proceed to referendum.
The Examiner gave Badby Parish Council as the qualifying body the opportunity to respond to the representations received to the Regulation 16 consultation.
During the course of the examination the Examiner asked a number of questions of clarification. The questions and responses can be viewed below:
The Examiner issued her report on 11th October 2018. She has recommended the plan can proceed to referendem with suggested modificatons.
