Badby Cricket Club

Badby Cricket Club, formed in 1855,  play at Long Roods, (off Chapel Lane), Badby, Daventry , NN11 3AQ.  They run 2 Saturday sides and a midweek side, and are looking to add to these teams and to develop youth sides in 2015. This year the club will be part of the South Northants League.

They are looking to attract new members to enhance the Men’s, Ladies’ and Youth cricket teams.  The new committee is committed to ensuring this can happen this year with the help of their two fully trained level 2 cricket coaches. They have the facilities and now need to attract more players, as well as a core group of willing parents, volunteers and coaches to ensure they can continue the fine 160 year tradition.

After two promotions in the last two years in the Northamptonshire Cricket League, we are now in Division 5, and after more than 150 years of playing, we want to reach our bi-centenary in a healthy state!

Please contact the club secretary Gemma Haynes on 07887 426766 to find out more or if you can help in any way with teas, ground maintenance or any other functions.
