Badby and Fawsley Women’s Institute is part of the Northamptonshire Federation and was first formed in 1918. Today we have over 60 members drawn from not only Badby and Fawsley but from a number of other villages around the area.
We are a very welcoming and fun loving group of ladies who meet in Badby Village hall at 7:30pm on the second Thursday of each month.
The full programme for our meetings can be found here , on the WI notice board in Badby Village hall and each month in the Link. New members and guests are always welcome and/or if you would like a friendly face to come with you to our meetings please contact any of the committee
We enter a team in the Northamptonshire WI skittles league, with monthly practice sessions at the Romer Arms, Newnham, organise monthly lunches, walks and theatre trips and have a drama and a knitting group as well as a book club.
At each meeting we have a book and jigsaw share and a book of the month.
