Badby and Fawsley Women’s Institute is part of the Northamptonshire Federation and was first formed in 1918. In 2018 we celebrated our centenary with a special meeting and the Archives group produced a booklet “Recollections of first hundred years ” which was given to all members and past members. Today we have over 50 members drawn from not only Badby and Fawsley but from a number of other villages around the area.
We are a very welcoming and fun loving group of ladies who meet in Badby Village hall at 7:30pm on the second Thursday of each month.
The full programme for our meetings can be found here , on the WI notice board in Badby Village hall and each month in the Link. New members and guests are always welcome and/or if you would like a friendly face to come with you to our meetings please contact any of the committee
We enter a team in the Northamptonshire WI skittles league, with monthly practice sessions, organise monthly lunches, walks, garden visits, outings and theatre trips and have a drama and a knitting group as well as a book club and a culture club.
