Bellringing on Thursday 27/2/20 –

Our bells rang on Thursday afternoon from 3pm  when  the Daventry Branch of the Guild of Diocesan Bellringers successfully completed a quarter peal of 1,260 changes of Plain Bob Minor in 47 minutes.

It was arranged for one of the regular Badby Wednesday practice-night attenders, Kim from Willoughby, to ring his first quarter peal of minor (all six bells changing).

The local team are always looking for new recruits to join in this traditional English exercise, art, science, sport, rhythm and unique percussion music!  Any Wednesday evening (except April 8)  – come to the tower door.
