Bellringing –

If you miss the clock chimes after the bellringing practice on Wednesday (23/10/19) evening, apologies, but we left the bells raised so the chimes cannot work.  This is ready for the bells to ring out before Badby School harvest celebration in the church at 1.30pm on Thursday October 24.

From 3pm there was an attempt by a Daventry district team of ringers to ring a quarter peal. It was successful, giving the conductor, from Nether Heyford, practice after several years since last conducting a longer length of ringing. 780 changes of Grandsire Doubles were followed by 480 changes of Plain Bob Doubles taking about 49 minutes to complete. See details here.

Chimes back to normal after that!

In early November the bellringers were surprised and delighted to find this thank-you  for ringing before the school harvest from Year 1!
