The cricket club’s Open Day on Sunday, September 8, starts at 1pm.
This is a chance to get to know the village’s newly-formed club who are planning a day of fun with a bbq, salads, cakes, refreshments, tombola and some cricket.
There will be a mouth-watering selection of burgers, sausages, salads, cakes with wine, beer and soft drinks to wash it all down as well as a chance to play in the club’s infamous Seniors v Juniors match. Food costs £5 a head.
So come along to Long Roods near Badby Woods and enjoy the fun. Hope to see you there.
On the playing front, been a disappointing August to date with narrow away losses to Blakesley and the Open University. The August 11 match against Pattishall was unfortunately called off but will hopefully be re-arranged for early September.
Future fixtures starting at 2pm start at Longroods field:
August 18th: Northampton Eaglets (h)
August 25th: SNCC (h)
September 1: Blakesley (h)
