Church services in January and February –

Sunday, January 1 2017: 10am United Reformed Church New Year Thoughts; 11am Holy Communion at St Mary’s Church

Thursday 5th January 2017: 9:30am  Midweek Communion with a special welcome to visitors and ramblers at St Mary’s Church

Sunday, January 8: 11am All-age family  clean sweep of Christmas for the new year. Bring your left-over chocolates to share and enjoy!

Sunday, January 15: 10am Worship with Mary Barrett preaching at the URC, Chapel Lane; 10am Holy Communion using Common Worship for the Knightley Parishes at St Mary’s Church.

Tuesday 17th January: 6:30pm Not able to come to church on Sunday? Why not try the Evening Service of The Word? Held once a month on Tuesday evening (following the third Sunday of the month) at 6 30pm at St Mary’s Badby, this friendly, peaceful service lasts no longer than 25 minutes. Led in turn by some of those who attend, there is always a brief talk about somebody inspirational. All welcome!

 Sunday, January 22: 10am Shared Praise at the URC, Chapel Lane; 6pm Evening Prayer usually with hymns led by members of the lay-band at St Mary’s Church.

Sunday, January 29: 10am Worship with Keith Bishop preaching at the URC, Chapel Lane.  No services at St Mary’s Church.

Thursday, February 2: 9.30am Midweek Communion with a special welcome to visitors and ramblers at St Mary’s Church.

Sunday, February 5: 10am Family Worship with the Rev Geoff Townsend preaching at the URC, Chapel Lane; 11am Holy Communion at St Mary’s Church

Sunday, February 12: 10am Worship with Mary Barrett preaching at the URC, Chapel Lane; 11am All age family service at St Mary’s Church with Rev’d Sue inviting anyone who was baptised at St Mary’s to come to this service to renew their vows. Also all children who come to this service are invited to bring their favourite toys so they too can be baptised.

Sunday, February 19: 10am Family Worship with Gail Addison preaching at the URC, Chapel Lane; no services at St Mary’s Church.
