Church services in August 2016

 Sunday, July 31: 10am, family worship at the United Reformed Church, Chapel Lane.

The only service in the Knightley Parishes will be Holy Communion at 10am in Newnham Church.

Sunday August 7 10am Family worship at the United Reformed church;

11am, Holy Communion at St Mary’s Church.

Sunday August 14 – 10am, family worship at the United Reformed Church.

At 11am the family service at St Mary’s Church will celebrate Lammastide, following on from the magic breakfast service earlier in the year. August 1 is Lammas Day, the festival of the wheat harvest – the first harvest of the year. There will be some Lammastide themed refreshments. Please tell your friends and bring all your family.

Tuesday, August 16 – Not able to come to church on Sunday? Why not try the Evening Service of The Word? Held once a month on Tuesday evening (following the third Sunday of the month) at 6.30pm at St.. Mary’s Badby, this friendly, peaceful service lasts no longer than 25 minutes. Led in turn by some of those who attend, there is always a brief talk about somebody inspirational. All welcome! Forward dates are September 20 & October 18.

Sunday August 21 – 10am, family worship at the United Reformed Church.

Also at 10am, the only service in the Knightley Parishes will be Holy Communion at St Mary’s Church.

Sunday August 28 – 10am, family worship at the United Reformed Church.

6pm, Evening Prayer at St Mary’s Church.

Communion services in the Knightley Parishes will be celebrated at9.30am Charwelton Church and 11am at Fawsley church.
