The Annual Parish Meeting is the opportunity for all parishioners to meet, to hear about what has been happening and to debate issues which matter to them. As last year, this will be in the format of a social evening and the Parish Council invites all residents to attend.
As well as local Councillors from the Parish, District and County Councils, village organisations will be attending and talking about what they have been doing.
Come and discuss village life and issues with them and other residents. Parish councillors will also be on hand to discuss your views on any subject you may wish to raise. In particular, we will be looking for comments on what might be done around the area where the horse chestnut is being removed from The Green, the Neighbourhood Plan, parking and how we might celebrate the 90th birthday of Her Majesty the Queen this year.
Doors to the village hall will be open from 7pm with an informal welcome by Peter Cooper, Chairman of the Parish Council, at 7.30pm.
Refreshments and cheese will be served at no charge.
We very much look forward to welcoming you.
