Badby Parish Council – Extraordinary meeting

An extraordinary meeting of the Parish Council has been called to consider a number of planning applications – Extraordinary Meeting Agenda.  One of the applications is the Parish Council’s own application to remove the fenced horse chestnut tree on The Green.  The Parish Council has been carrying out regular inspections of the tree and the latest shows “extensive, advanced decay across the western side of the stem”.  The report recommends the removal of the tree and, on safety grounds, the Parish Council has concluded that it should apply to Daventry District Council for the removal of the tree.

Any parishioners wishing to comment on the plans are welcome to attend the meeting on 29th February at 7.30pm in the village hall and make their views known.
