An evening of French music and dance will mark the traditional French twelfth night celebration in the village hall on Saturday, January 2. The band of musicians, playing French bagpipes, vielle à roue (hurdy-gurdy) and accordéon, will provide music for the folk dances of France, which are mostly very easy to do because there will be plenty of help to get you started.
The event is informal and you are welcome to listen and enjoy the ambience, if you don’t want to dance! Cost is £4 per head to cover costs. Bring your own drink and a plate of food to share. Meal starts at 7pm. Contact: Ian on 01327 705265 or ian@zootalors.co.uk.
