The Annual Parish Meeting is the opportunity for all parishioners to meet, to hear about what has been happening and to talk about issues that matter to them. In previous years, the Meeting has been rather formal and, not surprisingly, attendance has been low.
This year the Parish Council is making the Meeting into a village social event, and invites everyone to attend at Badby Village Hall on Friday 17 April 2015.
As well as Parish, District and County Councillors, village organisations and the Police will be attending, each with a table where they can display and talk about what they have been doing. Come and discuss village and rural life and issues with them and other residents. Parish Councillors will be on hand to discuss your views on any subject you wish to raise. In particular, we will be looking for comments on parking in the village, Vodafone mobile reception and the Badby Neighbourhood Plan.
Doors open at 7.00pm with an informal welcome by Peter Cooper, Chairman of Badby Parish Council at 7.30pm. Refreshments and cheese will be served.
