It has been traditional not to hold a bell ringing practice night in the week leading up to Easter Sunday (“Holy Week”). But on Wednesday, April 1 (sorry about the date!) there will be a practice with the bell clappers tied so that improvers can improve their bell control without making a sound.
This is a great opportunity for anyone to come and have a go at ringing – a fascinating gentle physical, mental and social exercise.
Come along at any time between 7pm and 9pm and come straight in the tower door. Perhaps those from Year Six who have just finished their initial training sessions or those who have been trained in the last couple of years would like to come along to get further ahead.
