On 7 May 2015, the same day as the General Election, many local Town and Parish Councils, including Badby Parish Council, will be holding elections to choose members. Badby needs a strong and active Parish Council and we would encourage you to consider standing. We face an ever-increasing number of pressures from planning and development, initiated both locally and from central Government, and the next 10 years are likely to present us with many challenges.
Badby Parish Council needs to be representative of the parish to be able to press the case to create the Badby that people want, rather than one forced on us.
To stand for the Parish Council you must complete the Nomination Forms, available from Sharon Foster and return the completed forms to the DDC Offices no later than 4:00pm on Thursday 9 April. An advice surgery has been set up at Badby Village Hall from 4-6pm on 1st April to help and assist ANYONE with form filling.
Please consider standing in the election – if you are interested and wish to speak to us about what it entails, then contact any of the current Councillors or speak to the Clerk, Sharon Foster; names and contact details are on the Parish noticeboards and this website.
