The Parish Council was recently requested to look into purchasing a defibrillator machine to be sited in the village. However, after research and consideration, it was found to be too expensive. Since then, we have been approached by a parishioner who advised that another Parish Council had gone down the same route and come to the same conclusion. However, that Council would be willing to reconsider on the basis of part-funding the purchase and installation of a machine but only if sufficient interest is shown by residents. It is felt that a minimum of 6 people investing would be needed to make a scheme viable. Volunteers are also required who would be willing to coordinate and operate the scheme.
Badby Parish Council would be willing to reconsider a purchase in the same circumstances. Therefore, could anyone interested please contact the Clerk (Sharon Foster) on 01327 310245 or email@example.com before the next meeting which is due to take place on 10th March 2014.
