Quiche & Wine Evening

Badby & District Horticultural Society’s first event on our 2014 calendar is our Quiche & Wine Evening on Friday 4 April at Badby Village Hall with our speaker Michael Brown (Who has been a Head Gardener and a College Lecturer and studied for his MA in Garden History at Birkbeck, London. He has researched medieval gardens and the uses of the plants. Later, creating the medieval gardens at the Prebendal Manor at Nassington, Northamptonshire) with his talk “Death in the Garden – Poisonous plants, myths, magic, passion and murder….” Come and taste the homemade fayre and sip a glass of wine, whilst enjoying the talk….Tickets will be available soon, but you can express an interest with any Committee member.
