Painting a new approach to tackle dog fouling

Badby and other Parishes across Daventry District have been signing up to a colourful new initiative aimed at tackling the blight of dog fouling on their local streets and parks.
Daventry District Council is providing them with cans of brightly coloured biodegradable paint to spray on dog mess to highlight the extent of fouling in their communities and help shock irresponsible owners into cleaning up after their pets.
So look out for red spray in the village.

Why is there no dog bin at the small car park by the archway entrance into the woods? Dogs foul all along the path as they and their owners enter through the pedestrian gate. The owners, I assume, do not pick up as there is nowhere at all in this vicinity to put dog bags. As a consequence the path that leads to the woods is indescribable. A bin would perhaps also encourage owners to pick up around paths in the woods themselves if they knew a bin was near.
