Repairs and greens protection

The deluges of winter and spring seem way off, now that we have such a beautiful summer. Major footpath damage from the downpours occurred to the bottom of Honey Lane (as the Knightley Way path from the church towards the woods is known). Good news is that NCC today repaired the mini-gorges that appeared, so we can only hope the next torrential rain doesn’t undo the good work.

Parish Council members have recently been repairing greens and verges around the village which were damaged by vehicles over the wet winter. After consultation with adjacent houses, these posts were recently added at the bottom of Bunkers Hill, after repairs to major verge damage had been carried out.
